This seems like a personal game that you just uploaded to this game jam, I don't understand how this relates to the theme. The visuals are not that good, and it isn't that original. The game is very buggy, and the sound effects are annoying.
It looks like its made in scratch, too. If you really want to use a code-less engine, at least use something like construct 3 or GDevelop 5 (what I use)
my pc broke, I don’t have the money for a pc, I feel most comfortable using scratch, I’m gonna delete this from the gam, I didn’t know the theme I should’ve looked more into it I just saw a jam and entered it in, I’m still new to itch.io, thank you for the suggestions :)
For a while, I was stuck using a crappy chromebook that could only run scratch, and I was on there for about 4 years or so, and I learned a lot about game dev, but after trying out new engines, scratch is very limicing. Consturct 3 is entirely web based (but it's kind of expensive). GDevelop5 is completely free and can run in the web, but you don't get all the features of the desktop version.
:(. It’s okay. I just wanted you to understand my situation. I mindlessly submit my games to jams because I just want to show that any game even the most simple games can be a success. I know it’s not a good idea and won’t do it again. Although the criticism hurt, I take it as something I could really use make improvements on my game.
I think its super cute already with the sounds. The pipes are a little big, the first one took me a min. Maybe having smaller one’s at the start and then getting bigger/harder as you go.

I’m working on a new polished Bird update. New graphics, pipes, a beak, a new shop, different backgrounds, and more. Beta coming soon. I am also working on an other game. New game prototype will come next month. Beta doesn’t have a release yet but soon.
Hey! I just played this for about 5 minutes but I keep dying because I suck... I`ve only made it through the first 2 pipes like 1 time.
I like the colors and the simplicity of the game! It`s cute!
But I think the game would actually be a bit more fun without the legs at the bottom of the character. Also, I would recommend adding a few instructions to the screen as well as a bit of space between the player and the first few obstacles on the level in order to let the player get used to the controls. ;)
I hate losing so I`m going to keep playing this for a bit. The sound effects are cute. Hahaha!

No problem! Actually, you may not need to shorten the leg graphics or create new graphics. If you are developing in Unity, you may just need to adjust the Box/Circle Collider2D that you are using to shrink it. That way you won`t need to change the graphic and collision can just take place around the main body.

that’s a good idea Im working on that in the beta version. I’ll shrink the pipes a bit :)

Scratch is nice but i think you should try construct 3 out. It's a bit nore complex at first but it saves a lot of time.
